Segregation Of The Jews

Once the Holocaust came into full effect there were many laws passed for the Jews to follow.Heres some of the degrading laws The Nuremberg laws forbade Jews from practicing professions such as medicine, law, and teaching ,these laws also regulated interaction between Jews and other Germans. Jews were forbidden from employing non-Jews and it was a criminal offense for a Jew to have a romantic relationship with a non-Jew. Even the act of kissing a non-Jew could bring a long prison sentence. These laws were enforced by the courts and the brown-shirts. During this period Jews were also encouraged to emigrate from Germany, as long they left their property behind and these are just a few of the degrading laws that were put forth by the Nazis. The final Solution was the extermanation of the jews Himmler stated like lice it will take years for the evauation but it will happen. Then there was the Wannsee Confreence which was held on January 20,1942 this was where Berlin met with the top 15 top Nazi bureaucrats to coordinate the final soloution in which the Nazi would attempt to exterminate the entire Jewish population of Europe,an estaminated 11 million persons. The first Nazi ghettos were never intended to be more than temporary, an interim concentration of Jews pending a decision concerning what the “Final Solution of the Jewish Question” was going to be. The Wanasee Confrence lead to the Ghettos because just like the concentration camps jews would be  exterminated there to.Instead of isolation and forced emigration, the Nazis began to concentrate Jews in ghettos. The Jews weren't allowed to bring anything into the Ghetto except personal items, cloths, and simple household furniture. There was a hospital in the Ghetto with very scarce medical supplies. There were also schools and soup kitchens. Jews had to find their own home in the Ghetto. That meant sharing a home with other families, It had been hard to hate a person that the average German dealt with on a daily basis, but the absence of the Jews and the different culture of the masses of Polish Jews made the anti-Semitic propaganda of Hitler even more effective. Five major Ghettos were located in Warsaw, Lodz, Krakow, Lublin, and Lvov. The Jews could  not escape the ghettos are they were going to be shot.On April 19, 1943, the Warsaw ghetto, the largest ghetto in Europe, was to be liquidated Germans established the ghetto for Jews and segregated them from the rest of Polish society. The ghettos were liquadated because people were getting away and everyone had to pile on to a train to get sent to the concentration camps.
